Distinct Interior Design offers a personalized and collaborative design process that ensures every project reflects the client's unique vision and style. With an initial consultation, the team takes the time to understand the client's needs, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences. From there, the designers create a customized design plan that includes everything from space planning to color schemes and furniture selections. The team works closely with the client throughout the entire process, providing regular updates and incorporating feedback to ensure the final design exceeds expectations. With a focus on creating functional and beautiful spaces that are tailored to the client's needs, Distinct Interior Design is dedicated to providing a seamless and enjoyable design experience.
Our Design Process
Before We Meet
Find your style. We recommend you collect pictures of rooms that you find interesting or love, also pictures of furniture pieces, artwork, colors and window treatments. Also make notes of things you do not like, the time taken now saves time, money, and ensures satisfaction.
Preliminary Meeting
During this meeting we take a walk through the space with you, we listen to your ideas, needs and wants, then together we map out the scope of your project, your goals, timelines and your budget.
Second Meeting
Written Proposal Presentation – We will describe the project in detail, outlining exactly what is or is not included, an estimate of overall cost and timelines. Project sign off.
Design Meeting
We present the initial design drawings and space plans. Depending on the scope of the project, we may present a sample board or present actual samples of finishes, pictures of furniture pieces with dimensions, furniture layout, cost estimate and a schedule for your approval.
Contract Approval
This is when the decisions are finalized on proposed selections and pricing. Once samples are signed off and complete, we begin ordering supplies, booking trades and the project will fully commence.
Fees and Charges
We always provide quotes and estimates for your approval prior to purchasing.
Set Up and Reveal
We schedule all deliveries and installs so you don’t have to take time away from your busy day. Once the furniture is delivered and set up, we stage the room with accessories, artwork and lighting to create a beautiful and impressive interior. You don’t need to lift a finger, so sit back, relax, and enjoy your new space.
